Estero/Bonita Republican Club meet with candidates from District 3 PDF Print E-mail

That expression of "The more you know the less you know" has changed to "The more you know the more you want to know" for me! Tonight's event was, bar none, the most impressive format I have ever attended. Commissioner Judah and I appeared before a crowd of about 40 people at the College of Life Foundation on Corkscrew road in a casual dialogue with radio host Mandy Connell. The discussion was dynamic and the questions challenging. The best part, at least for audience members was that it was a refreshing departure from the typical 1-2 minute question and answer format usual to local political forums.

My thanks to Craig Briscoe, president of the club and one of our delegates to the Republican Convention, Many Connell of WINK Radio and Charles Duaray of the College of Life and the South Florida Water Management District, for a wonderful evening.

It was a great setting where I recalled many a trip to the Koreshan park and to the building where we met as a teenager. Thankfully, not much has changed! The place even smelled the same with that familiar scent of your grandmas attic! I loved it.

Celebrate Bonita PDF Print E-mail

"Bonita Springs celebrated it's 9th anniversary today. Under a glorious sky and with a lovely breeze residents and visitors from all over enjoyed the beautiful Riverside Park in Bonita Springs.

We collected more than 700 petition signatures throughout the day talking to people from all over the county but most of all those from nearby Bonita, Estero and the beaches.

I'm always amazed when I talk to people that no matter what their concern may be or where they live, we have much more in common that the small things that might separate us.

It was a great day and I'd like to thank all of you who took the time to talk with me, sign my petition, and wish me luck! See you soon.
